PUBLIC HEALTH ROCKS!
Healthy St. Lucie Coalition Declares – Public Health Rocks!!!
During the week of April 3-9, 2017, communities across the United States are observing National Public Health week to highlight and celebrate the issues that are important to improving the health of our nation. In public health, we know we must tackle the underlying causes of poor health and disease. Those causes are rooted in how and where we live, learn, work and play. The Florida Department of Health in St. Lucie County formed the Healthy St. Lucie Coalition in 2015 to develop a Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP). Members from over 30 local agencies are working to build a culture of health in our community. Healthy St. Lucie celebrates the work of public health and invites you join us.
