Healthy St. Lucie Soft Launch

Healthy St. Lucie met for the first time on June 11, 2015.  Forty people representing over 20 local organizations were represented.

A committee was formed to develop a survey for stakeholders.  The survey will be sent out in July to assess what each Healthy St. Lucie participant can bring to the table, how we can reach out to the greater community, and where need to focus the most attention.

Jennifer has over 17 years of public health experience and is currently the Community Health Promotions Director with the Florida Department of Health-St. Lucie County. She coordinates the Healthy St. Lucie Coalition and oversees the implementation of our Community Health Improvement Plan. Jennifer also manages Teen Zone, an adolescent reproductive health clinic. She supervises Safe Kids, an injury prevention program for children, and the local Tobacco Prevention Program. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking local parks, taking a variety of art classes, and spending time with family and friends.

Promoting health where we live, learn, work, and play. The Healthy St. Lucie Coalition seeks to bring diverse organizations and individuals together to improve the well being of St. Lucie County residents.
