Across the USA Mini-Challenge


Register Now for Across the U.S.A. with Healthy St. Lucie!

Take a walk through some of America’s most well-known and iconic towns and cities on our challenge, Across the USA. You’ll travel from coast to coast all the while learning about the history and unique offerings of these great American centers. Your journey begins in Richfield, NY down to Richmond, VA, onto Austin, TX to Albuquerque, NM, with your grand finale on the California coast in San Francisco and those are just a few of the places you’ll visit. You’ve been saying, “One day I’ll take a road trip across the States”, well now is your chance!

This challenge runs from July 25-August 7 and is brought to you by Humana.

There are four versions of this challenge to give everyone a chance. Reveiw the details and pick the version that works best for you. While this is an individual challenge, all steps earned will be automatically added to your team total if you are on one.

Please remember to only count your steps once! If you are wearing a device that captures your steps – don’t enter a separate activity unless you have taken off your device during that activity. 


Select the one that matches your current average activity level. If you find you cannot sign up – check your average, you may need to move to a different level to qualify.

HOP This version has been set for participants who want to work on the goal of reaching 5,000 steps per day, through walking and/or other activities. Maybe you aren’t active on a regular basis or have had events that interfered with your commitment and you are looking for some motivation to get back in the game? The “HOP” is the perfect challenge level for you.

DASH If you have been logging regularly and you are near 10,000 steps per day but looking for little push to stay consistent, then the “DASH” is right for you. While 10,000 steps per day is the goal, don’t let that limit you if you have higher aspirations!!

ULTRA For those competitors looking to average of 20,000 steps per day, the “ULTRA” will be your race!

ELITE – Yes, unicorns do exist!  This version is for competitors wanting to average 35,000 steps. Keep it up and reach for more by joining your peers in the “ELITE” group.

Winners will be announced and celebrated during the virtual Healthy St. Lucie Meeting on August 13, 2020.  Virtual meeting information will be sent at a later date. Certificates and prizes will be mailed to the winners!
