On October 2, 2003, Jessica Clinton a seventeen year old student died from an undetected heart defect. The foundation created in her honor has been working to prevent such tragedies. For the past 12 years we have been working with our local schools and legislators to provide public access to A.E.D’s (Automated External Defibrillators) in our schools and communities. In addition, for the past 5 years the foundation has been offering FREE Heart Screenings for students in an effort to prevent the unnecessary loss of a child.
Screenings are offered to students ages 5 to 20. Participants will be screened through Heart Physicals, EKG’s, and Echocardiograms.
